Looking for the best Japanese language resources and courses?
These are my all-time favorite resources for learning Japanese. There are quite a lot of Japanese resources out there but these are the ones I've personally found to be the best.
I'll update this list over time.

Rocket Japanese: This is my personal favorite and one I can't recommend enough. Rocket Japanese is so incredibly popular and covers an enormous amount of Japanese language content. Do yourself a favor and do a free trial.
Japanese Uncovered: If you love reading, then this is a perfect choice. Japanese Uncovered teaches you Japanese through stories that have been written and adapted for beginners. Very popular course option with a literary focus.
JapanesePod101 (Innovative): Ever heard of JapanesePod101? I'd be surprised if you haven't! JapanesePod101 teaches uses a fun podcast format and it's a joy to listen to.
There are some really great books out there for learning Japanese but these are some of my personal favorites (on Amazon):
italki: Create a free account and have look at the unbelievable amount of Japanese teachers available for low cost.
Some Japanese teachers on italki are so cheap it will shock you.
Mondly: An amazing and comprehensive app for learning Japanese (and many other languages). Covers loads of relevant Japanese topics and is beautifully designed.
Babbel: One of the most popular and well-known apps for learning Japanese and other European languages. Superior to Duolingo in every way.
Pimsleur Japanese: One of the biggest household names in language learning. It's been around for decades and is still one of the greatest Japanese introductory courses ever made (audio only).
